Story: "Attempted Mad River (near Mad Lake) and upper Two Little Lakes with not even a rise to be seen. My only hope was the Entiat, and boy did it deliver. Every cast I had some kind of interest from the fish. The water was so clear and the competition so fierce that they’d shoot from under rocks 10’ away to hit the fly. The first one I landed was a Cuttbow, the others were rainbow and even a beauty of a golden (but I didn't get a good pic of it). I kind of got carried away, landed about eight of them and lost at least that many more in the 20 minutes I was fishing. Beautiful river too. In the back of my mind I was thinking 'if I can only just catch one more species!' but I had to get going."
