Story: "I ended a huge drive from Silverton, Colorado to Alaska at Denali State Park for the 30-mile Kesugi Ridge Traverse. The race course is stunning and rugged. I'd never fished here, but did some reading ahead of time and chatted with a park ranger at the start. It took a while, but I caught two juvenile salmonids in Byers Lake less than a mile from the finish. Why two? Because I dropped the first before I had a pic!"
