Attempt Description: Halfway through a 5 day float while camped at Lower Bear Gulch with a short day ahead of us we decided to attempt a FKF since we had a nice two track to follow up the hill. Starting from camp it was a mile and a half straight up hill. Turned into a hike for me pretty quick. The top of the ridge was a super pretty rolling meadow for about 3/4 mile till the turn around. Then bomb it all back down hill. (Quads be damned.) Back at the bottom of the hill managed to pull a little 6" brown trout from a seam at the bend just up from camp. Finished it off with a Cream Ale from Missoula. Good times.
